Frequently Asked Questions

  • You are sent a HIPAA compliant link to access the telehealth sessions.

Once you’re on, sessions are a collaborative space where we will work with whatever you want to focus on that day. If there’s no topic, we figure it out together. We are continuously working on your short and long term goals along with holding space for anything that comes up outside of those goals!

  • Sessions are $200 for 50 minutes and tailored to your needs.

My approach is highly specialized in trauma, anxiety, and identity exploration, helping you break patterns that have felt impossible to change. If you’re interested, we can discuss out-of-network superbills.

  • I work with Thrizer so you can check what your out of network reimbursement rate will be before we begin sessions.

You will also be able to upload the superbill I give you to Thrizer in order to receive reimbursement either instantly (5% fee) or within a few weeks (1% fee). This is meant to make it easier to pay out of network fees without breaking your bank!

  • Any late cancellations or no shows 24 hours or less of the session will incur a cancellation fee.

  • My license only lets me provide therapy for childhood trauma for adults in California, so for now I can’t work with you unless you physically reside in California.

  • Business hours are Monday to Thursday from 9AM to 5PM. Reach out to see my current availability for time slots.

  • Online therapy has been shown through numerous research studies to be just as effective as in person therapy when it comes to working with anxiety, relationship struggles, and depression.

Online therapy is good for people not in immediate crisis or that require higher levels of support. It’s well suited for those that want to work on themselves, increase their self-insight, and gain coping skills to live a more fulfilling life as a whole.

  • Everyone is different in how long they need to be in therapy, so we can’t give specific estimates on how long therapy for childhood trauma will last.

Sometimes you come in to learn a few skills, and then we uncover a lot that ends up taking a few months to more than a year. Sometimes you come in for something that seems really big, but gets resolved in a month.

We will continually check in to monitor your progress towards your goals and whether or not continuing therapy is right for you at the time.

  • As my practice grows, I’ve made the decision to reduce the number of insurance panels I work with. This allows me to better support my clients with personalized care, more flexibility, and deeper availability for high-quality, trauma-informed therapy.

Here’s a quick timeline of changes for 2025:

    Kaiser: Ending 6/13

Magellan / Blue Cross: Ending 8/1

    Anthem: Ending 11/1

    Cigna: By end of 2025

    Aetna: TBD

If you have any of these insurances, you’re welcome to reach out and have a few sessions covered minus your co-pay until I move off the insurance panel. After that, the fee will change to the full out-of-network cost.

For my out of network clients, superbills will be provided and may help with insurance reimbursement.
